Acnes in adulthood

it is misleading to think that acne only appears in adolescents. Adult acne affects women over the 25 years and is different from the teenage pimples.

Typically, pimples are caused by excess sebaceous glands., caused by androgen and testosterone hormones. But there are also other factors that cause, such as the proliferation of bacteria or even genetic predisposition.

We teenagers, acne is normally common in the T zone (forehead and nose), while in adults it is usually distributed in a U shape (jaw and chin).

There are ways to prevent pimples and even treat them.. Treatment is similar to that for adolescents, may include oral or topical medications.

To prevent acne breakouts, it is important to keep your skin clean., use products that remove excess oil and dead cells, in addition to having a healthy diet. check out:

Avoid sweets, frying, alcoholic and carbonated drinks, as they make digestion difficult and damage the skin;

Eat a diet rich in omega 3, zinc and antioxidants, like salmon, fruits and vegetables, as they are rich in substances that help reduce skin inflammation;

Cleanse your skin with cosmetic products designed to remove oil at least twice a day;

Apply sunscreen to your face before applying makeup;

Do a light exfoliation once a week to remove dead cells.

If these methods to prevent and/or treat acne do not work, seek medical help. A qualified dermatologist can treat persistent pimples to prevent scarring or other skin damage..

When consulting, facilitate the diagnosis by providing some information. Write down information such as medications you are taking, including vitamins and supplements; tensions; life changes; periods when pimples proliferate more, etc..

Take advantage and also take your questions down.! 😀
